When Ricardo Delgado-a prolific development and storyboard artist who has worked on such hit films as Men in Black, The Incredibles, WALL-E, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and the Matrix series-first set his sights on creating comics, he crafted an epic tale about the most unlikely cast of characters: dinosaurs. Since that first foray into the world of sequential art-which earned him an Eisner win for Talent Deserving of Wider Recognition-he has returned to his critically acclaimed Age of Reptiles again and again, each time crafting a captivating saga about his saurian subjects.

* This volume collects the long-out-of-print Age of Reptiles and Age of Reptiles: The Hunt, and the never-before-collected third series, Age of Reptiles: The Journey.

"Delgado once more proves that the age of great illustration is alive and well."
--John Landis, Filmmaker, An American Werewolf in London, Michael Jackson's Thriller

Would have gotten a five, if not for a few pages where some of the Dinosaurs weren't colored in a were transparent. However this maybe a printing error and I hope so cuz this was my fav purchase of 2012 so far :)

Excellent book for dinosaur fans. Intreaging story when you realize you're looking at one, with continuity. This is going to my grandkids, with another one for my own library.

beautiful, original, timeless.. a perfect example of thinking outside the box in graphic storytelling.

I couldn't think of a better way to spend a rainy afternoon, snuggled up with a blanket in my favorite chair with this book. The art is breathtaking-every page, every panel.

The cost of admission is so low for this 400 page book. Easily my favorite book to hit the shelves last month! Take a gander at the first look, you'll know what you're in for. It's a nice break from the cops and capes books out there! I cannot recommend a book higher than this.
