In celebration of the one-year anniversary of ARCHIVES OF THE FANTASTIC: The Ninth Cosmic Convergence, the film has been recut for a new DVD edition that will be released in partnership with local comic book shops, starting June 30. Produced by costumed events group The Alter Egos Society, this 45 minute tongue-in-cheek labor of love brought colorful superheroes and villains to the screen. Retail sales from the partnering comic book shops will go to p:ear, a local organization known for building positive relationships with homeless and transitional youth through education, art and recreation.

An evil telepath (Pandora) has stolen a powerful mystical artifact, the Cosmic Crystal, and a heroic master of magik (The Sorcerer) is trying to stop her misuse of its dangerous power. A heroine from the future (Skyray) trails her brilliant arch enemy (Dr. Megahertz), who is secretly building a device to harness the power of the Cosmic Crystal. A prankster villain (Yorick) has abandoned criminal pranks in favor of bank robbery; an auto mechanic-turned-robot-armored-hero (Alloy) wants to know why.

From her invisible space station, an ancient, omniscient alien (The Archivist) records Earth's history, and watches as the conflict between good and evil throws the fate of the world into jeopardy...
