In Angel's final television season, his world ended, but his story didn't. Now, IDW Publishing is proud to present the story of Angel: After the Fall, as presided over by Angel co-creator Joss Whedon, along with his hand-picked creative team, Brian Lynch and Franco Urru. Picking up where Season Five of the fan-favorite TV show left off, this hardcover edition looks at who lived after that climactic battle, who died, and what happened to all of Los Angeles in its wake. Features an art gallery from acclaimed artists Tony Harris (Ex Machina), Andrew Robinson, and Urru.

  • Jan 10, 2009 Dawn from Allentown, PA

Not Whedon's best, but still worth reading.

  • Nov 13, 2008 Peter from Canada

This book was a really good read. It picks up the story where the series left off, and does an excellent job of it, with much action and a few surprises.

  • Nov 10, 2008 Sallie from nj

Beautiful hardcover edition of the series with notes from the writers, some explain alterations Joss made to the storyline or why some characters developed certain ways. (trying not to spoil)

This is an excellent work. The art is very good, and the script is top notch. I had to take two goes at reading it to take it all in, as it is quite detailed and intense, but it was well worth the effort. The extras include cover art and a page by page description of the first part of the story. These extras were excellent. A great story in a very impressive package.
