Bad guys, beware! Evil aliens, run for your lives! Axe Cop is here, and he's going to chop your head off! We live in a strange world, and our strange problems call for strange heroes. That's why Axe Cop--along with his partner Flute Cop and their pet T. rex Wexter--is holding tryouts to build the greatest team of heroes ever assembled.

Created by five year--old Malachai Nicolle and illustrated by his older brother, the cartoonist Ethan Nicolle, Axe Cop Volume 1 collects the entire original run of the hit webcomic that has captured the world's attention with its insanely imaginative adventures. Whether he's fighting gun--toting dinosaurs, teaming up with Ninja Moon Warriors, or answering readers' questions via his insightful advice column, "Ask Axe Cop," the adventures of Axe Cop and his incomparable team of crime fighters will delight and perplex even the most stoic of readers.

Objectively, the best comic in the universe.

  • Dec 15, 2011 Zachary from London, ON

This book is amazing. While the book IS available online, nothing compares to reading an actual book for me. The story is brilliant, and it's incredibly obvious that it was written by a young child. The artwork is perfect and stunning. It gets five stars for sheer amazingness and innovation.

  • Apr 10, 2011 Joe from Durand, MI

I bought this book having no idea what Axe Cop was and after reading it a couple times can't wait for another one to come out. Pure awesomeness! I laughed the whole way through it...both times! Can't wait to read it again.

  • Apr 05, 2011 Nathaniel Konrad from Montrose, MI

I couldn't be any happier with the dark slap-stick hurmor of Axe Cop. I purchased it on a whim and couldn't be any more entertained. The commentaries for the Q and A give a lot of insite on how the Nicolle brothers work hand in hand to produce such a unique comic with endless possibilities. A must read.

Even better in print! Insightful comments by the author definitely add value to the book. This book just may chop your head off, figuratively speaking!

    awesomeness on paper

  • Jan 06, 2011 Chris Tumbarello from Wentzville, MO

Such an ingenious idea for a comic: consult your 5 year old brother for ideas, and just run with it. This book is amazing. I can't stop laughing. The stories are crazy and I love the artwork that depicts the world of Axe Cop.

  • Jan 04, 2011 Elisabeth from Milwaukie, OR

I was a little skeptical, with all of the hype, but when I got the chance to read this book, I was so happy! This is a totally awesome, hilarious book, powered by pure imagination. The artwork fits the story perfectly. It's been a long time since I've had this much fun reading a comic.
