Rin has spent countless days chasing the murderer of her parents, and now she has Anotsu Kagehisa where she wants him, but the deathly ill Anotsu is too weak for the honor-bound Rin to strike down. The spirit of revenge is about to get thicker as Manji, Rin's immortal bodyguard, finally reunites with his charge as this pot of retribution prepares to boil over. And so Manji is faced with a strange irony-to save Rin, he must cut down the men who are out to kill Anotsu, Manji's sworn enemy!

Hiroaki Samura's award-winning Blade of the Immortal has taken its rightful place among the contemporary classics of graphic fiction, an innovative blend of historical authenticity and modern street idiom.

Product arrived in perfect conditions!Brand new as i aspected Great packaging!

The art feels a tad more rushed this time around, yet at the same time a bit more polished in style and execution. Story is still pretty good.

Poor Anotsu, too sick to talk, is limited to a series of expressions possibly the finest that Samura has penned. And Makie, the irresistable angel of the immaculate decapitation serves up some luscious blade and leg in the wake of an overtly theatrical arrival, helping Magatsu save Manji's and Rin's hides, and initiating poor Iriya's flipped-out demise. So how're our sweet little heroine and her bodyguard supposed to spend their free time following such an exhaustive, entertaining adventure? Get hunted by Giichi, of course.
