* Eisner award-winning writer Brian K. Vaughan (Y:The Last Man, Ex Machina) tackles Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight.

* Collecting issues #6-10 of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight series.

An excellent volume of Buffy Season 8. The story focus on Faith and Giles is refreshing and very exciting. A must have for Buffy fans!

This is a great continuation of the series. I don't believe the network would have funded the special effects. I am buying them all.

  • Jun 27, 2010 Frederik Sabbe from Lichtervelde, Belgium

Very good, as a good as the tv-seasons.

There couldn't have been a better season eight made by Whedon and his crew. I really love it and it gives me the same Buffy-feeling as there were in the TV-series and I'll definitely by the rest of the TPB as well.

This second installment was better than the first i loved although i didnt quite like anywhere but here. going straight out to buy volume 3

I was hesitant at first to buy into the Season 8 (comic version) of Buffy, though a huge fan. Spoilers of the events taking place in the comic made me wary of where the tales of my favorite heroine was going (especially her "brief" relationship with another young lady), but finally gave in to reading it. I have enjoyed most of the new tales, with few minor exceptions. They are a good read though!

Great way to read and reread Buffy Season 8 without having to paw through my original comics. I like the additional art work that is included.

  • Oct 03, 2008 Rose from Kissimmee

    It was good

  • Oct 02, 2008 niki from Chesterfiels

This was a well written story that kinda made you think alot of question that before may have come across as insane. Like, If Faith had been there first would she and Giles have been as good of a team as Giles and Buffy? And when you reach the end story it will go something like this : Dawn did that? and Willow did THAT? and Buffy did THAT????? It also includes extra cover pictures in the back of the book so you don't have to pick and choose which covers you want if you just get the volumes.

Joss Whedon still has you on edge. If you are a true BTVS you can't go without this!

  • Jul 19, 2008 Kamisha from North Carolina

Amazing. Somehow this is the perfect way to continue the series.

  • Jul 13, 2008 Karen from Canada

A great story involving one of my fave slayers!

  • Jul 07, 2008 Elena from Amsterdam

The only bad thing about this comic is that it ends, witty, funny, dramatical...playing with the same character tension of the series: Faith-Buffy; Willow-Buffy; Giles-Buffy; Giles-Faith...Nice to read that there are some past issues which were not properly closed and now are dealt with. I cannot wait for the next series...

  • Jul 03, 2008 Rich L. from New Haven, CT

That's not a bad deal really. The 4 comic arc of "No Future For You", plus the stand alone issue #10 written by Joss. Cool.

  • Jun 29, 2008 Mallory from Canada

The Buffy story is still going strong through this arc. The drawings themselves are also amazing. Overall I'm very pleased, but I was a little disappointed that A Beautiful Sunset wasn't part of this TPB though. Maybe it will be in the next one...?

  • Jun 27, 2008 ali from australia

Small crease in top corner of cover but otherwise is great condition.

  • Jun 26, 2008 Leslie from Corvallis

I love having them all together!

  • Jun 26, 2008 Peter from Canada

Awesome story arc. It's just like the series. I love it. Plus, Faith's cool.

  • Jun 26, 2008 mathilde from France

Yeah thanx it was perfect : time and quality ;)

  • Jun 26, 2008 Natalia from Canada

Very beautiful, and an excellent read to boot! The Buffy Season 8 is outdoing itself, and Vol.2 is no exception.

  • Jun 25, 2008 Maya from Texas

I loved this! Can't wait for the next one to come not, so I don't have to buy it one issue at a time. The art was great.

  • Jun 23, 2008 Tammi from Wisconsin

Shipped quickly and packaged very well.

  • Jun 22, 2008 Ariane from Gloucester, MA

Art is inconsistent between issues; in some episodes, Faith looks like a bad anime figure. Great storyline, dialogue, particularly the issue penned by Whedon.

  • Jun 22, 2008 Donald from Los Angeles

Good stuff... love having more than one issue at a time.. worth the wait!

  • Jun 05, 2008 Robert from Seattle, WA

I was waiting and waiting for this to get released and I wasn't disappointed. Brian K. Vaughan did an excellent job taking over the writing reins. And... Faith! It was good to see Faith again after such a long absence. I was also very happy to see more of Giles. It was like Old Home Week. Oh, and... Faith! Did I mention Faith was in this one? Buy it. You'll like it.

  • May 09, 2008 Dogtooth from UK

Buy with confidence. Not having read a comic book in thirty years, I was unsure if I'd like this. However I loved it. Whedon and Co have written an outstanding story and I've now discovered the Whedon's Astonishing X-men, which I strongly recommend.
