If you are like me, you haven't nearly had your fill of the Serenity crew. This is a great story from the Serenity/Firefly universe. I can't wait for more.

  • Dec 10, 2010 Marie from plainfield CT

    fantastic story

  • Jun 16, 2010 Richard Broome from Port Orchard, WA

This was much more like what I was expecting, in terms of overall enjoyment, when I read Left Behind. The art style is rough, but appealing, and the story is nicely done. Next! :)

  • May 06, 2010 Michael from Connecticut

Great comic, the plot and dialogue are exactly what you'd expect from any Firefly episode and the art is fantastic. A little short, but any fan of Firefly should read this.

Joss Whedon is a tv god. This TPB is excellent! Best Serenity/Firefly comic I've read to date... Better than Lose Left Behind IMHO.

  • Jan 03, 2010 Eleanor from Fresno California

This book was given as a Christmas gift but I know my brother-in-law really wanted it. Thanks!

  • Jul 17, 2009 Trevor Levine from Ionia, MI

Just like an episode of Firefly. It other words, brilliant.

  • Jun 07, 2009 Greg from Hamilton, VA

Excellent. Good addition to the Serenity story.

  • Apr 08, 2009 John from Texas

Joss Weadon needs to write more books, this was fantastic

  • Apr 08, 2009 Annie Breton from La Malbaie, Québec

This is just too cool. It's the gang we loved in the TV serie and the movie. The story is interesting. It's just so much fun to meet again with this absolutely great caracters.

  • Jan 13, 2009 Leander from Ontario

Not quite as good as "Those Left Behind," but still an entertaining read. The cargo they carry clashes a bit with canon technology, but the story and character development is exquisite.

  • Jan 01, 2009 Matt from Georgia

My first graphic novel purchase along with Serenity: Those Left Behind. I have nothing to compare this to, but the drawings were vibrant and looked great. Huge fan of the TV series and movie and this is a great addition to the Firefly 'verse.

  • Nov 11, 2008 Andy from New Zealand

Super shiney!! I can't wait for the next adventure in the verse of our favorite crew. Joss Whedon has done it again for Firely/Serenity fans the world over.

  • Nov 10, 2008 Marc from New Zealand

A Great addition to one of my favorite Tv series/Movies

  • Nov 10, 2008 Timothy from Bloomington, Indiana USA

A stunning continuation of Joss Whedon's Firefly/Serenity Universe. Set between the events of the Television Series Firefly and the Film Serenity, this comic Trilogy has a tempo and feel that is very Episodic, like an Episode of the TV Series. The story is exemplary, the Art and Colorization as well. If you have forgone acquiring the individual comic books for this compilation.... it was well worth the wait to acquire this! 5 Stars.

  • Nov 10, 2008 Christoph from Chicago

I'm just happy that Serenity gets to live on at least in comic form. It is hard to understand how a show as well written and innovative as Firefly could ever be canceled. Fortunately for fans this graphic novel does the show absolute justice. It lets us tag along in our favorite renegade bunch's latest and gratest adventure. Hopefully there is a lot more to come. Yoda knows, nothing has really replaced on TV.

  • Nov 10, 2008 Richard from Albany, NY

Short of new 'Firefly' episodes, these graphic novels are the next best way to experience further adventures on the good ship Serenity (see 'Better Days' and 'Those Left Behind'). The story moves right along with quips and plenty of action. The artwork is amazing - terrific backgrounds, interesting perspectives, and true to life renderings of our heros (though Wash and River must be very difficult to capture just so). Considering the price - under $10 - this is a must buy for any Serenity fan.

  • Nov 09, 2008 Ian from Newcastle, Australia

The art, story and development of the characters were all superb - I highly recommend this to both fans and non-fans of the series.
